Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre is a distillery in Tullamore, Offaly that celebrates the successful history of Tullamore Dew Whiskey. At the warehouse, you will learn the story of how the drink was made and the unique techniques used there. After you will take part in a tasting masterclass and then you can finish off your day with a gorgeous meal in a restaurant full of local produce.
2. Walk The Gardens at Birr Castle Demesne

Birr Castle Demesne is a large castle in the town of Birr in Offaly. The castle is not opened to the public but the gardens and grounds are able to be explored and include a science museum and a cafe. The garden features beautiful rare trees and flowers and gorgeous walks along the lake.
3. Learn History at Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise is a ruined monastery located in Offaly on the River Shannon south of Athlone, founded in 544 by Saint CiarĂ¡n. An interpretive Centre is open to the public , the graveyard is in use and religious services take place in a modern chapel.
4. Relax at Lough Boora Discovery Park

Lough Boora Discovery Park is a sanctuary for wildlife and an amenity for the community. The Sculpture Park has cycle and walking routes to allow visitors to take in the unique atmosphere of the landscape. It is located in the heart of Ireland near Tullamore in Offaly.
5. Cycle or Climb Slieve Bloom Mountains

The Slieve Bloom Mountains is a beautiful mountain range in Offaly. They rise from the central plain of Ireland. There are lots of walking routes and also trails for cycling and mountain biking if you’re looking for something more active.
