Phoenix Park is a large urban park in Dublin consisting of 707 hectares of recreational space, one of the largest enclosed public parks in any Capital City in Europe. Lots of activities are carried out here such as walking, running, polo, cricket, hurling and more. The Glen Pond is set in the stunning surroundings of the Furry Glen.

The Temple Bar is one of the most famous pubs in Dublin, famous for its location on cobblestone alleys where street musicians play and a great atmosphere is built up. It also is well known for its whiskey, with the largest whiskey collection in Ireland with the pub boasting over 450 different types of rare whiskey.

Croke Park is a Gaelic Games stadium in Dublin, Ireland. It serves both as the principal national stadium of Ireland and the HQ of the GAA. They host All-Ireland finals every year which draw thousands to the match every year. Dublin plays their county games in Croke park so if you’re in Dublin and there’s a match on go check out the national game. There are also tours of the stadium if you just want to see explore the stadium and learn the history.

The National Gallery of Ireland holds the national collection of Irish and European Art. Located in the centre of Dublin it boasts over 2,500 paintings and approx. 10,000 other works in different types of media such as print, sculpture and more. Free public tours are given at weekends and facilities onsite include a shop, restaurant and more. Pre-book in advance especially when there are special temporary exhibitions.

National Botanic Gardens is a botanical garden in Glasnevin. The gardens are 19.5 Hectares, were formed in 1795 by the Dublin Society and is now in State Ownership through the Office of Public Works. There are over 20,000 living plants and millions of dried plant specimens. There are multiple greenhouses onsite.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is located in Dublin Docklands, it covers the history of Irish emigration to other countries. At the 2019 and 2020 World Travel Awards it was voted as “Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction”. Inside is an interactive journey about how such a small island made a big impact around the worlds. You will make a path through the 20 themed galleries and discover why people left and how they influenced the world.

The National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology is a branch of the National Museum of Ireland located in Dublin. The museum deals with the History of Ireland from the Stone Age to the Late Middle Ages. Some of the permanent exhibitions include Prehistoric gold artefacts in Western Europe, amazing metalwork from the Celtic Iron Age and more. There are also many temporary exhibitions that take place.

Kilmainham Gaol held some of the most famous political and military leaders in Irish history such as Charles Stewart Parnell and Eamon de Valera. There is a 1-hour guided tour and exhibition. Here you can learn about the leaders of the rebellions who were detained and often executed here.

Dublinia is a historical recreation museum and visitor attraction in Dublin focused on the Viking and Medieval History of the City. You can travel back in time and see what life was like onboard a Viking warship, learn the skills of being a Viking warrior and more. At the end of the trip you will climb the original medieval tower which is 96 steps to the top and it’s well worth it due to the stunning views of the city when you’re up there.

The National Wax Museum Plus was set up in 1804 and has had many reincarnations since. It is now one of the most popular attractions in Dublin City. It is a self-guided tour where you will meet characters from history to famous celebrities. It is a fun and interactive experience for people of all ages.

Iveagh Gardens are a diverse collection of landscape features, history going back to 300 years ago. The conservation and restoration began in 1995 and to date most of the feature shave been restore including rose varieties dating back to 1860. The water feature is beautiful with rock samples from each of the 32 counties of Ireland.

The stadium is home to the Irish Rugby Team and the Republic of Ireland Football Team. Tours are also given of the stadium bringing you around the breathtaking stadium.
