After conducting some internet-based research on things to do in Kerry we compiled a list of the results we found. This list is not ranked in order of popularity.
1. Explore The Outdoors at Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park is a beautiful park with over 10,000 hectares of stunning lakes, breathtaking mountains and amazing woods. Here you can explore the highest mountain range in Ireland, the McGillycuddy’s Reeks. The world-famous lakes of Killarney where the mountains meet the shore. Muckross House is the main point in the Park a late 19th Century Mansion with stunning gardens.

Muckross House is surrounded by Killarney National Park as mentioned above. It is one of Ireland’s leading stately homes. The elegant rooms portray the lifestyles of the landed gentry. It is also home to a number of skilled craftworkers who can be seen using their skills in the crafts of weaving, pottery and bookbinding.
3. Enjoy The Views At Torc Waterfall

Torc Waterfall is almost 7km from Killarney Town, only a short 200m walk to the waterfall. If you climb up the steps you can get another viewing point at a higher altitude to get a clear view over the Middle Lake. The waterfall is approximately 20m high at its best after heavy rainfall.

Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium is an amazing underwater world with sharks, exotic fish, penguins and much more. It has been officially opened to the public since 1996.
5. Splash Around in The Aqua Dome

The Aqua Dome is one of Ireland’s Largest Indoor Waterworld’s and is located on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Aqua Dome offers beautiful tropical temperatures all year round and is perfect for a family day out. The Aqua Dome is great fun for swimmers and non-swimmers so just relax and have fun at Kerry’s main attraction.
6. Delve Underground in Crag Cave

Crag Cave is an ancient fossil cave system, which was once filled with water that eroded the limestone rock into a maze of tunnels and chambers. It is a colourful wonderland of Stalagmites and Stalactites that was discovered by cave divers in 1983. The tourist attraction had dramatic sound and lighting effects which builds a great atmosphere for the visitors.
7. Climb Carrauntoohil

Carrauntoohil is Ireland’s highest mountain at a height of 1039m, a challenging climb bit a very rewarding one. It is set amongst the beautiful McGillycuddy’s Reeks in Kerry. There are different routes with the Devils ladder route being the most challenging and not for beginners.
