The Delta Sensory Gardens are highly awarded gardens and described as ‘An Oasis of Peace and Tranquillity. The garden is located in 2.5 acres of interconnecting garden with beautiful colours and flowers dotted around. It is advised to book in advance as it tends to be booked out. You can take your time to have a leisurely stroll around looking at the water features and look in awe of the pink marble floating on a cushion of water.

Carlow Castle is another popular attraction bringing people to look at its battered towers and old ruins. It is one of the most important Anglo-Norman castles in Ireland and opened only on weekdays only. Carlow was once an important and strong military town due to its location at the confluence of rivers.
3. Brownshill Portal Tomb (Dolmen)

Brownshill Dolmen is a beautiful granite capstone, weighing over a massive 100 tonnes. A huge slab sits on two portal stones. It is dated to be constructed between 4,900 to 5,000 years ago and has drawn people to look at this historic stone.
